GIANTS CAUSEWAY

Travel along the famous Antrim Coast Road, passing thorough towns of historical interest such as Carrickfergus, Larne and arriving at the Giant`s Causeway. This is a World Heritage site and Northern Ireland`s most famous landmark.

During the one hour 30 mins stop (approx.) marvel at the thousands six-sided basalt columns and explore the many rock formations such as `The Whistling Chair` , `The Honeycomb` and `The Punch Bowl`. Hear the legend of Fin MacCool at the award winning visitors centre. Enjoy the scenic return journey inland to
Belfast.


BUSHMILLS
Drive along the famous Antrim Coast Road to Bushmills Distillery. The Distillery is famous for being the oldest licensed whiskey distillery in the world, established in 1608. During a one hour stay at the Distillery, enjoy a guided tour explaining the entire process of whisky making from beginning to end. Have a look at the process passed from generation to generation, concluding with an opportunity to sample and purchase some of the famous Irish whiskey. Return journey inland through scenic Northern Irish countryside.

STRANGFORD AND COUNTY DOWN

Drive through Newtownards along the tranquil coast road of Strangford Lough to Exploris Aquarium. A one hour visit to the aquarium where you can immerse yourself in the fascinating lives of real underwater communities.
An ever changing, ever developing combination of living animals, interactive and special events. Gaze into the deep and mysterious waters, where the sharks circle and the rays sweet majestically past, as you sit in the cave beneath the huge Open Sea Tank, one of the largest in the united kingdom. The return journey is by the ferry from Portaferry to Strangford and then by the road to Belfast. The tour price includes the ferry crossing.


CARRICKFERGUS

A short drive from Belfast, the first stop on this tour is a Carrickfergus Castle, built in the 12th century by knight John De Courcy. This is one of the finest Norman castles in Europe. The history of the castle is told in an audiovisual presentation and brought to life by a cast of faithfully recreated characters from 800 years ago. From here the tour continues along the Antrim Coast Road were you can enjoy some of the finest coastal scenery anywhere in the world, as the sea meets cliffs and mountains and pretty villages come into view.

On the drive through the famous Glens of Antrim, you can visit Glenariff Forest Park. The diversity of topography, woodland and habitat found within the park provide, for the visitor an area of superb natural beauty in which to walk, enjoy the tranquillity and admire the spectacular views.
